Sara Sorribes Tormo was born on October 8 1996, in Castellón de la Plana which is the capital city of the province of Castellón, in Spain. She is now a Spanish professional tennis player. Until now, she has 1 WTA singles and 2 WTA doubles titles to her credit as well as one doubles title on the WTA Challenger Tour. On the ITF Circuit, she has won ten singles and five doubles titles.
Sorribes Tormo made her WTA Tour main-draw debut at the 2015 Rio Open, while her Grand Slam main-draw debut happened at the 2016 French Open. Her first Grand-Slam win came at the 2018 Wimbledon Championships.
She won her maiden WTA title at the 2021 Abierto Zapopan in Guadalajara. She achieved her career-high singles ranking of world No. 34 on 18 October 2021 and peaked at No. 40 in the WTA doubles rankings on 3 February 2020.

- Sara Sorribes Tormo was born on 8 October 1996 in Castellón de la Plana in Spain to Leopoldo and Manoli.
- Her mother owns a souvenir shop and also used to be a tennis instructor, while her father works in real estate and used to play pro soccer for CD Castellon.

- Sara turned professional in 2012 and played in her first main draw on the WTA Tour at the 2012 Barcelona Open, where she, unfortunately, lost in the first round of qualifying.
- In 2015 she qualified for the Rio Open where she lost in the first round but she entered the top 200 for the first time, getting to a rank of 198.
- In 2016, The Mallorca Open was her first main-draw WTA Tour tournament, where she won against Paula Badosa. In the second round, however, she lost to Ana Ivanovic. Sara made her first WTA Tour quarterfinal, where Patricia Maria Țig defeated her. Sara finished the year as world No. 107.
- In 2017, For the first time, Sara entered Indian Wells Open in qualifying, where she succeeded in getting to the main draw. In the first round, she defeated Ekaterina Makarova,thus getting her first win at any Premier Mandatory tournament, but in the second round, she lost to Agnieszka Radwańska. However, her performance enabled her to debut in the top 100, reaching a rank of 99.
- Her first WTA Tour main-draw win in 2018 happened at the Monterrey Open, where she defeated Tereza Martincová, but lost in the second round to Ana Bogdan. She also won one WTA doubles title and one singles title on the ITF Circuit.
- At the French Open in 2019, she recorded her first win, winning against Alison Van Uytvanck, but in the next round, she was defeated by Sloane Stephens. On 10 June 2019, she reached her career-high ranking of world No. 64.
